DinE with the dead, walk for life, nov 1, 12 pm-5 pm
In 2025, the Friends of the Verdugo Hills Cemetery presented Dinner with the Dead, featuring a delicious three-course meal by Chef Tumara of Joselito's Restaurant. It was a successful, sold-out fundraiser that provided for the care of the cemetery grounds. We've decided to alternate events each year. This year there is no entrance fee, but food will be for purchase. In addition, we'll have games, photo opportunities, and marigolds available for a small fee. Bring some cash, no internet at VHC.

Park on Terecita Road, park as close to the top as possible. Walk to the top of the hill.
An information booth, in addition to Health Huts, to provide wellness information.
Our Motto: It's good to be alive!
Bring cash for food purchases and activity participation. Rides are available up the Terecita Trudge. We will issue award certificates to those who brave the ascent.
